It is with a very heavy heart to notify the PFGS family of the loss of Founder, President Sean William Murray.
Our deepest condolences to the Murray Family (Rachel, Kaleb ) and their Friends.
1994-95 was the beginning of changing the way goalies trained. At the fore front was Sean. His innovation to training goalies was proven by the vast amounts of success of his students.
He was a tremendous Goalie Coach always on the details, pushing to get the very best out of any athlete he came across. Even if they didn’t see it in themselves, he did and he encouraged to bring the best out of them.
He loved his athletes and would let them know, not afraid to use the “L” word. This spoke to his caring nature. He was strong physically and mentally, his strength helped so many get through so much.
We mourn now, but he left a legacy, what he created will strive and his memory lived on!
Rest in peace Sean, we love you.
“Help me God, for I have lost a friend.
Once here, with me, now gone.
Forgotten memories, now resurfaced and cherished forever.
You were once here, with me, but now your gone, and I’m alone.
Just yesterday, we shared smiles,
But now I mourn here, alone.
From happiness to sadness, joy to grief,
You were always by my side.
We talked, we laughed, face to face,
Now I stand here, speaking to you, and met with silence.
You were my friend, my teacher, my mentor,
I was your friend, your student, your apprentice.
You were a part of me I’ll never forget.
Our reunion will happen in time,
But for now I stand here, alone, without you.
Help me God, for I have lost a friend.”
